Roses for you

Hello my dear friends,

I am happy to read your comments and even happier that you still check my blog even though I stopped blogging a long time ago.
I wanted to tell you that I have achieved many goals during these last three years and I shall keep doing that in sha allah. I wrote a small article in a book called '' Iraq Then & Now '' by karen Dabrowska & Geoff Hann. I read a lot of books that helped me to improve my English language, one of those books was ''The Secret'' which I liked a lot.
I have another important thing to say, I might go back to Iraq soon. I don't know if it will be safe and happy but I do know that I'll go back a different person and I will hold on to my hope and pray for the safety of my family. You probably want to know why we decided to go back to Iraq again, well to say the truth, things aren't working well here with my dad's job and with this late economic depression we decided that its time to go back. I know it is selfish of me to say that I liked living in the UAE but can you blame someone to feel happy of living in peace like a normal person?? anyway I just wanted to say hi and sorry for not letting you know how i was doing.

My wishes to you all.

Raghda

    Love your blog Raghda!

I heard the situation in Iraq is a lot better now...My mother is actually going there next week. I was very worried about her (and still am)...keep hearing about people being kidnapped etc..but my aunt's husband just came back from Iraq and he said its pretty safe over there...things are back to normal (I wouldn't be ablt to tell you what that means since I don't remember much about Iraq, left when I was 4). But yeah, thing are improving, a lot.
    Hope you enjoy your trip
    Best of luck

    Dear Raghda,

    Congratulations on your book article!

I am hearing that many parts of Iraq, including Baghdad, are much safer how. I hope that will continue and improve even more! One of my friends returned to Baghdad from Syria. He came home to finish college. He says things are much better there now.

I am glad you have been safe and happy in UAE! I have heard very good things about it from my friend Attawie who lives in Sharjah. I hope your father can find a good job back in Baghdad. I hope you and your family will be happy coming home.

    Take care.

Thank you for writing to us again. I am so glad to see your latest post. I do hope your house is not so looted as you expect it to be. If it is, though, I pray you have the strength and courage you need and that you find a new and better home very soon. May you ever be blessed.

    Hi Raghda...,
I'm sorry things didn't work out for your dad and you have to return. Would you consider continuing your blog from there? I think your perspective and vision is needed in this world, and I do still have a link to your blog on my website and will continue to try to support your messages - http://www.gratefulchild.org/projects/gcweb/gc/html/news/
Take good care Raghda. I wish you Love and Light, and the best of times returning home, ...GC

Hi Raghda! I'm writing on what is apparently called National Sovereignty Day - June 30, the day U.S. soldiers give up their patrols and let the Iraqi police take over keeping the peace. I hope it is a day that you can celebrate - it's definitely a bittersweet occasion, after so much bloodshed.

I love to think of you going to university and then going on to help make your country safer for cats, girls, and all other fragile living things. I wish you all possible blessings! And eternal thanks for being such a bright spark in so much darkness -

    Jean from California

    Hi,

I am writing an article for Huffington Post on rejoicing in Iraq due to withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. I have few questions. Can you please answer my questions?

    Thanks,
    Mona
